Gas Turbine Casing Alignment and Dowelling
Critical activities to check alignment of all casing, from inlet to exhaust, movement of elements out of correct position and re-dowelling (by boring to diameter greater than original, or execution of new holes). Engineering Team provides supervision of all activities of manpower and comprehensive technical report of each step of check Measurement results are available in “real time” to provide details of relevant movements of casing to achieve alignment. Main effect of this feature is a big gain in time of alignment if compared to old &classic methods (wires, gauges, …).
